The Parents of Nathaniel

Nathaniel was of the third-generation of Benedicts pioneering on New England soil and the first-generation in Danbury. He was the fourth child for Samuel Benedict and the second for Rebecca Andrews. Nathaniel's father Samuel was raised in the English colony on the east end of Long Island, who then came to Connecticut in about 1665 as a young lad. Nathaniel's mother Rebecca came from the Andrews family of Fairfield county.

The Final Years for Nathaniel

Nathaniel mentions his wife Sarah, son Isaac and Nathaniel and also grandson John of Cornwall in his will, which was made on January 19, 1767 and proved on December 11, 1767. The estate inventory amounted to 221 3s 7d1.
