William and Delia Beardsley

Delia Beardsley was born on March 21, 1824 and died February 14, 1907, seven years after William passed away.

In 1861 due to hardships caused by the American Civil War and after his two eldest sons, Charles and George had joined the Northern Army, he with his family moved to Canada. He bought a farm four miles northwest of Wallaceburg, Ontario1.

The Final Years for William

William was buried at the Methodist Church near Wallaceburg.
