’s Early Years Heather was born in Elk Point, Alberta. She lived in a house on the farm of her uncle Max and aunt Ila Borowsky. From Elk Point, Heather lived with her dad and mom for a while in Red Deer and then from 1948-1952 the family lived in Rosebud, Alberta. On October 17, 1949 sister Beverley was born in Calgary, Alberta. While living in Rosebud, Heather and Bev had a dog, Tippy, who was a Spitz. When Heather's mom wanted to find Heather, she just had to look for Tippy and Heather was close by.
