The Homestead
I'm sending you a photo of Mabel Benedict Bassetts' homestead, taken in 1896. Ashfield Museum is very excited about the lineage of the house. Taken in Rehobath, Mass. Mabel married Harvey Bassett and had 8 kids in this home. After harvey died in 1940, Mabel let the boy scouts tear the house down. All we have is a picture. The museum is looking for a connection with our Bassetts to thier museum. -
