Edward Morris

	Born	abt. 1780 in England, perhaps near Cuddesdon, Oxford, England
	Married	abt. 1813 to Elizabeth Hughes, probably in England
	Died	27 Aug 1857, Caledon Twp., Peel, ON, CAN

The information that I have indicates that their first child (William) was born in England in 1812, before they emigrated to Canada - which was probably about 1817. Although there is some indication that either Edward or Elizabeth came from the Birmingham area, there was a child of an Edward Morris and Elizabeth (surname unknown) born in the Cuddesdon, Oxford area, so I am showing Edwards birthplace as possibly being also in that area. The next child born was Martha in 1819 in Canada. I believe that they had seven children in total.

Edward and his wife Elizabeth settled near Caledon, Ontario and remained in the area for the rest of their lives.
