Amos was born in Magnolia, Rock, Wisconsin, United States and seems to have remained there through the Wisconsin area in 1870 as well though in 1880 he was enumerated in Grafton, Fillmore, Nebraska, United States.
Amos Lewis Benedict and Charlotte Ludrick
Amos married Charlotte in 1884 and residedin Grafton,Nebraska. She died in 1994 but prior to that they had their first daughter Harriet in 1885
Amos Lewis Benedict and Katherine Ellen Conn
Amos married Katherine sometime before 1896 and seemed to stay in the Sutton,Clay,Nebraska area until the 1920 census where they were located in Wyoming where I presume he passed on Jan 19 1921
