She married Edouard in 1856 and together they had seven daughters. Ned was a farm labourer in the area of Alnwick New Brunswick in 1861. With him were his wife, Olive, and two daughters. By 1871, Ned Breau had moved from French Cove to Lot 9 and became a farmer himself. At that time, he appeared to be the only resident in the large tract of land which constitutes Lots 9, 10 and 11, granted to the three Mazerolle's: Peter, Simon and Luke. The 1871 census shows Ned and Olive as illiterate. Ned acquired Lot 9 probably through his connection with the Mazerolle family as his mother was a Mazerolle%CITE{1001}%. Olive passed away in June of 1874, being only 40 years of age, after which Edouard remarried%CITE{1001}% %CITE{1002}%. ---+++_Edouard and Lucille Robichaud_ <img src="%ATTACHURLPATH%/siblings.gif" alt="Louis, Nicolas, Evangeline Breau" align="right" width=160 height=210 Hspace="10" Vspace="10"> Lucille Robichaud was born on January 6, 1850 at Tracadie, the daughter of Jean-Louis and Marcelline (neé Latulippe) Robichaud. She married Ned by 1875, being twenty years younger then he and together they had five children. According to the 1881 census, Ned was still farming in the same area and had at home four daughters from his first wife and three sons from his second. Lucille outlived Ned by fifty years, passing away on October 14, 1934, having reached the age of 84%CITE{1001}% %CITE{1002}%. <BR clear="all"> ---+++_The Final Years for Edouard_ ---+++_Footnotes_ ---++++_Census of 1881_ %TABLE{ sort="off" tableborder="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="3" headerbg="#000099" headercolor="#FFFFCC" databg="#C8CB8F, #DBDDB5" dataalign="right,center,center,,,,,center,center" }% |*Person*|*Sex*|*Marital*|*Ethnic*|*Age*|*Birthplace*|*employed*|*Religion*| |BREAUX, Edward|M|married|English|50|New Brunswick|farmer |R.C.| | Lucile|F|married|French |52|New Brunswick| |R.C.| | Mary J.|F| |French |14|New Brunswick| |R.C.| | Angeline|F| |French |12|New Brunswick| |R.C.| | Elisabeth|F| |French | 8|New Brunswick| |R.C.| | Louis|M| |French | 5|New Brunswick| |R.C.| | Jean|M| |French | 3|New Brunswick| |R.C.| | Michael|M| |French | 1|New Brunswick| |R.C.| _- 1881 Census for Alnwick Twp., Northumberland Co., New Brunswick; District #35; Subsdistrict A; Family History library film #1375821, page 21._ --- ---++++_Census of 1901_ %TABLE{ sort="off" tableborder="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="3" headerbg="#000099" headercolor="#FFFFCC" databg="#C8CB8F, #DBDDB5" dataalign="right,center,center,,,,,center,center" }% |*Person*|*Sex*|*Related*|*Marital*|*Birthdate*|*Age*|*Birthplace*|*employed*| |BREAUX, Louis|M|head |single|17 Oct 1875|25|New Brunswick|farmer | | Lucille|F|mother |widow |6 Jan 1850 |51|New Brunswick| | | Nicholas|M|brother|single|17 Jan 1878|22|New Brunswick|labourer| | Marceline|F|sister |single|17 Apr 1881|19|New Brunswick|cook | | Susane|F|sister |single|15 Mar 1883|18|New Brunswick| | _- 1901 Census for Alnwick Twp., Northumberland Co., New Brunswick; District #19; Subsdistrict # A-3; archives microfilm T-6442; page 8._ --- %BIBLIOGRAPHY{header="---+++_Sources_" referenceTopics="BibliographyReferences" order="citation"}% ---+++_Family Outline_ %TREEVIEW{topic="EdouardBreau1830" formatting="imageoutline:threadexp" format="<table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0><tr><td nowrap>$images</td><td style={font-size:10pt}>$count $topic</td></tr></table>" stoplevel="3"}% -- Main.JimBenedict - 18 Jun 2006
