Esther passed away on April 1, 1908 at Neguac. Louis was Ned Breau's first son with his second wife, Lucille Robichaud. He inherited one-third of Lot 9 from his father and lived there all his life. Louis earned his living mainly from cutting and selling wood from his woodlot. He also fished smelts and herring and did enough farming to produce food for the family. The family home was destroyed by fire, and the house now standing on his former property was built in 1944. This house, now unoccupied, was used as the Post Office for Comeau Settlement from January 1951 to September 1961. Those who remember Louis say that he had a fine singing voice, and that he had many old Acadian songs in his repertoire. Unfortunately, those songs have now all been forgotten and are forever lost%CITE{1001}% %CITE{1002}%. <BR clear="all"> ---+++_The Final Years for Louis_ None of Louis' children left any descendants in the region. His eldest son, Edouard (Eddy) died single at 32 years of age. Cécilia and Omer never married and lived on the property inherited from their parents. [[EmeldaBreau1909][Emelda]] married John Fogan and lived at Newcastle. Armande married Myles !LaDeroute who was in the Canadian Army. Myles was originally from !VanKleek Hill, Ontario. This family is presently living at Loretteville, Quebec%CITE{1002}%. ---+++_Footnotes_ OBITUARY for MRS.
