Nickolas was born 21 Aug 1878 Hastings County he married Eliza Ellen Hailstone daughter of John Hailstone and Rachel Parks they married 15 Sep 1897 Coe Hill Wollaston Twp Hastings County witness to their mariage was brother Robert and his wife Rachel Reid the minister was James Balstone. <img src="%ATTACHURLPATH%/NiclolasDafoeandfamily.jpg"   align="right" height="503" width="400" Hspace="10" Vspace="10">
Nick and Eliza lived for many years in Gilmore untill moving to Trenton . Nick died April 9 1940 in Trenton. Eliza was born 11 Feb 1879 in Elziver Township Hasting County she died 05 Dec 1958 in Whibty Ontario living with her daughter Myrtle. She was layed to rest in Stockdale Cemetery Murray Twp. Northcumberland Co Ont as was Nick . They had the following children

He lived in the Frankford district for the past fifteen years before his death from a heart seizure in Trenton. Prior to moving to Frankford he lived in Gilmour. He was a member or the Free Methodist Church at Frankford and well esteemed. Funeral will leave his late residence,Trent Street on Thursday April 11 for a service in the Free Methodist Chruch conducted by Rev.Bache. Interment at Stockdale Cemetery.
