Benedict, Louis Randolph8 (Rev William Lewis7, William6, James5, James4, James3, John2, Thomas1) b 13Aug1857, m 1883 Emnma Olivia Houston, d 5Feb1936. He d 21Dec1928. Grad from H.S. in Warwich, NY and then went to Ellenville, NY to join his brothers, Thomas E and Gilbert H, who had founded "The Ellenville Press", a weekly newspaper in 1872. Later he acquired his brother's interests in the press and operated it until 1896 when he sold it to William C McNally. He then worked as a Printer, Proof-Reader and Editor in NYC until 1920 when he purchased the Press again from Mr McNally and operated it again until 1926 when he sold it to Edwin C Horner, Jr and retired in Ellenville NY.
