Irene as we all new her never married. She owned and ran her own store in London, Ontario in the early years, which was a variety and stationary type store I believe? In later years to my knowledge, she was in Real Estate. 

Note Irene Sarah Benedict was buried in Grandma Emma Mabel (Caswell) Benedict's grave. Section 4E, lot 246, (Parklawn Cemetary), Cambridge (Preston) Waterloo Co., Ontario.
