Betsey was b 1777 in Wyoming Valley, PA and d 5Feb1838 in Steuben County, NY. She was the daughter of Nathan Dart and Unknown. Nathan was the son of Samuel Dart 1707-1759 and Mary Jagger 1719-1745.

Dansville is a village in *Livingston County,* New York. Daniel Faulkner founded the village in 1795. When Livingston County was created, the village was in the Town of Sparta. Dansville became an incorporated village in 1845.

Dansville is a town in *Steuben County,* New York. The town was named after Daniel Faulkner. The Town of Dansville is in the northwest corner of the county, north of Hornell, New York. The town was formed, along with the county, in 1796 as one of the original towns in the county, but was not settled until around 1804. Daniel P. Faulkner, a prominent citizen, was popularly called "Captain Dan." The Town of Dansville was used to form, in whole or part, the Towns of Cohocton, Howard (both in 1812, Wayland (1848), and Fremont (1854). In 1822, part of the town, including the Village of *_Dansville was annexed to the Town of Sparta in Livingston County._*
