Little is known about Freeman Robert Benedict and Olive Jeanetta Patterson.

---+++_Lawson Edward's Early Years_
Lawson worked for Minas Basin Pulp and Power for most of his life.  He worked in the woods as a young man and shoed horses, and did carpentery work throughout the Valley.  He was a modern-day "horse whisperer".  He trained and broke horses for use in the Valley.

Mary was the daughter of Captain Garfield Doyle of Windsor, Nova Scotia.

Michael worked in the woods as a young man for Nova Scotia Lands and Forests.  He moved to Consort, Alberta with his young family.  He worked in the trucking and oil industries in Albert.  He had sons Gerald, Dale, and Neil, all residing in Alberta with their families.

Garfield "Ted" also worked in the woods of Nova Scotia.  He fought forest fires and worked in lumber camps when he was young.  He worked for the Jodry family at Minas Basin Pulp and Power and CKFL-Colby Foods until his death.  

Ed served in Korea with the Canadian Military, then worked for Minas Basin Pulp and Power and CKFL in Hantsport until his death.  He had daughters Teresa, Cindy and Mary.
