Mary Ann was born in Hastings County in the village of Lime Lake, located at the border point of Hungerford Twp and the southern Township of Tyendaga and the border point of Richmond Twp. of Lennox and Addington County to the south West.

Mary Ann met Cyrus !McLeod, born 1849, s/o Alexander & Eliza !McLeod. They married December 27, 1875 at Bruce, Bruce Co. Ontario. Ontario, Canada Marriages, 1857-1922 Record. Indexed by: Ancestry .com

Cyrus !McLeod, a shoemaker by trade, was born 1849, at Cornwall, Cornwall Twp., Stormont Co., Ontario. At the time of their marriage Cyrus was living in Chesley, Bruce Co., and Mary Ann was living at home in Sullivan Twp., Grey County.
Cyrus !McLeod, died in December 1878, the year his son, James Alexander was born.

( NOTE ) Cyrus's Mother age 64 and Father age 55, come up on the 1881 Census with George age 34, John age 30 and Jennet A. age 23.

Mary Ann lived on bringing up her family. She met John Boyle a farmer, born about 1825 in Kent County, son of James and Rebecca Boyle. They married 27 Apr 1883 in Wallaceburg, Kent Co., Ontario and died 1928 at age 74. ( info from Ancestry.com )
