Rebecca Benedict; b. after 1707 ---+++_The Parents of Thomas_ Thomas was of the third-generation of Benedicts pioneering on New England soil. He was the third child for Samuel Benedict and the first for Rebecca Andrews. Thomas' father was raised in the English colony on the east end of Long Island, who then came to Connecticut in about 1665 as a young lad. Thomas' mother Rebecca came from the Andrews family of Fairfield county. ---+++_Thomas’ Early Years_ At eighteen years of age, he and his parents left the birthplace on Long Island, landing at Connecticut. ---+++_Thomas and Elizabeth_ ---+++_The Final Years for Thomas_ Information derived from the administration of the estate of Thomas Benedict, which was granted Dec. 6, 1714. He left widow Elizabeth (Barnum), and "four children in their nonage." The estate amounted to £240 16s. 11d.
