She died on Feb. 24, 1824 in Winchester, Randolph co., Connecticut. Her father Joshua Hallwas born 4 Nov 1708 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Christened, 21 Nov 1708 in Stratford, Fairfield. Died 25 Sept 1789 in Redding, Fairfield co., Connecticut. Joshua Hall's father was Isaac Hall, born 8 Nov 1667 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Christened, 28 Apr 1700 in Congregational Church, Stratford, Fairfield co., Connecticut. Joshua Hall's mother, Jane or Jean Burgess born 2 Nov 1672 in Boston, Suffolk co., Massachusetts. Lydia's mother Deborah Williams was born 26 Oct 1710 in Fairfield, Connecticut; died in 1750. Christened 26 Nov 1710 in Christ Church, Fairfield co., Connecticut. Deborah was the daughter of Thomas Williams, born about 1677 in Fairfield, Fairfield co., Connecticut and Esther Smith born 1685 in Fairfield, Fairfield co., Connecticut. Christened 24 Apr 1703 in Christ Church, Fairfield co., Connecticut. They married in 1745 in Danbury, Fairfield co., Connecticut USA. Captain Timothy Benedict, from Danbury, named in his first deed, [[TimothyBenedict1747][Timothy Benedict, Jr.]], bought in 1771 the eastern half of the lot originally purchased by [[BenjaminBenedict1740][Captain Benjamin Benedict]], lying on both sides of Mad River, and enclosing the Danbury school-house, on which he resided until his death. His wife, Mrs. Lydia Benedict, died in this town February 21, 1824, aged 95. The land records show that he had three sons, Timothy, Jr., Willam, and Joshua, who came with him to Winchester and to whom he conveyed portions of his hand.
