Raymond’s Early Years

Raymond Joseph Smith was born May 28, 1905 in Washington, Vermont. In 1909 Raymond and family were living in Manchester, New Hampshire where sister Winnifred was born. In about 1912 the family moved to Davidson (Lothian), Saskatchewan.

Raymond Smith and Flora Dean

On Oct. 21, 1934 Raymond married Flora Dean in Melfort, Saskatchewan. In 1935 son Warner was born and in 1936 son Elmer was born, both in Melfort. In 1968 Raymond and Flora were living in Penticton, B.C. and on April 28, 1972 Raymond passed away at the age of 67 in Victoria. Cause of death was a stroke.
