Mary and Malcolm Marcell Kennedy

Malcolm was born on June 14, 19i20 at Wallbrook, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, the son of Thomas Argyle Kennedy and Bessie Iwilda Prescott. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces as well, and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

KENNEDY, Mary Elizabeth - Hantsport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2005, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born May 28, 1917, in Falmouth, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Emily (Wile) Benedict. Mary was a caring wife to husband, Malcolm; loving mother to her five children; and a kind and gentle grandmother. Besides her devotion to her family, she worked for many years at J. L. Harvie's store in Hantsport; was a food service employee at Hants Community Hospital; was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Lucknow Branch No. 109, Royal Canadian Legion; and was a life member of St. James U.C.W., Hantsport.
Mary will be sadly missed by her husband, Malcolm; daughter, Glenna (Larry) Giffin, Amherst; sons, Gregg (Cheryl), Ottawa; Leslie (Betty Ann) Beazley, Windsor; Richard (Grace) Beazley, Halifax; Wayne (Cindy) Beazley, Bridgewater; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Gertie Purton, Pauline (Douglas) Ogilvie, both of Sarnia, Ont., Isabel Hutchinson, Bedford; brothers, Austin, Wolfville; Harold, Port Williams; Robert, Centreville; Paul, Sydney River.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Paul Beazley, and by brother, Donald.
