Dallas Weisner had cancer and was in Calgary in 1964 to be married. He passed away just before his wedding, July 17, 1964. Every year since Dallas passed away, the family has a huge gathering at Watrous Church in Sasktachewan. In 1997 there were 40 family members in attendance.
