In about 19720 Bob and Mary divorced. In 1972 Bob married Judith Charter. They had one daughter together, Cheri who was born in 1974. Judith had a daughter by her first marriage, Heather Dawn, whom Bob adopted. Bob operated a trucking business with brother Chester. He was also in real estate with Chester and brother Wilf. Bob was part owner in Bonnybrook Truck wash in Calgary for several years. Bob also owned two pubs in Calgary, one in the southwest which was Royal Coachman Pub and the other was in the northwest which was Suds & Spuds.
