Lucy was born about 1717.

---+++_The Final Years for John_
Nothing is known of his spouse and little of John and his children.  His birth year of 1719 is not documented.  

According to Henry Benedict%CITE{1001}%, he was dead in January of 1767, when [[NathanielBenedict1680][his father]] made his will.  The estate of his brother Samuel was distributed in 1756 to Isaac and Nathaniel Benedict of Danbury, and John Benedict, son of John, deceased, of Cornwall.  He certainly, therefore, had one son and perhaps other children.

Per a family tree at ancestry.com (un-cited), John was the son of Benjamin Benedict and Mary Platt and was married to a Lucy ??? on November 29, 1738.  John was born in October 5, 1714 and died in 1778.

The lineage of this John Benedict will require further research.
